Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV on Highway 9 — west of Newmarket.
- The incident took place near Weston Road just after 1pm ET on July 4.
- An aerial photo of the scene shows significant damage to the driver’s side of a white SUV.
- 1 person has been pronounced dead and another individual has been taken to hospital.
- Officials haven’t disclosed which vehicles the deceased and injured were in.
