1 person hospitalized after Hwy. 7 collision northwest of Guelph

Incident details
One person has been airlifted to hospital after a passenger vehicle and a transport truck collided on Highway 7 near Rockwood, northwest of Guelph.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a crash in the area of Hwy. 7 and Eramosa-Milton Townline around 10:30 a.m. ET on March 10.
- Initial reports from the scene indicate that a transport truck was found in the ditch and a passenger vehicle was on its roof.
- Firefighters extricated a person from the passenger vehicle. They were taken to hospital in an Ornge air ambulance.
- The severity of the airlifted individual’s injuries weren’t disclosed.

The cause of the two-vehicle collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
