2 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Hwy. 400 Collision in Bradford

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a crash involving a tractor-trailer and 2 passenger vehicles on Highway 400 in Bradford on Jan. 13, 2026.

What Happened?

• The incident took place in the northbound lanes of the highway near County Road 88 just before 4am ET on Jan. 13.
• According to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, 2 people were taken to hospital. One of the injured individuals, an off-duty York Regional Police officer, is in serious condition.
• Emergency crews are working to turn around traffic stuck behind the crash site.
