Former operator of Wilfrid Laurier cafe claims wrongful dismissal
Employment Lawyer Lior Samfiru, co-founding partner at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, discusses a possible case of wrongful dismissal stemming from an on-campus coffee shop want ad at Wilfred Laurier University. Sandor Dosman, operator of Veritas Cafe, was terminated by the University after he posted an ad that stated he was looking for a “new slave (full time staff member)”.
