Subaru Passenger, 77, Dead Following Collision with Hino Truck in Cambridge
The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is investigating a fatal collision involving a white Hino truck and a silver Subaru hatchback near Maple Grove Dog Park in Cambridge on March 13, 2026.

What Happened?
- The incident took place at the intersection of Maple Grove Road and Speedsville Road around 11:40am ET on March 13.
- According to WRPS, the driver of the grey Subaru hatchback, an 81-year-old man, was taken to local hospital. His passenger, a 77-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- No injuries were reported for the driver of the white Hino truck.
Investigation Updates
The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
