- The incident took place on Niagara Street between Thorold Road and Abbey Road around 11pm ET on Aug. 24.
- According to Niagara police, a silver Honda Civic was driving south on Niagara Street when it hit the pedestrian.
- The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead.
- Niagara Street between Thorold Road and Abbey Road fully reopened around 6am ET on Aug. 25.
Investigation Updates
The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
