- Halton police said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the incident took place in the parking lot “adjacent to the Scotiabank” around 1pm ET on Aug. 12.
- “Tragically, an adult male pedestrian is deceased,” the post reads. “The HRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit is attending the scene to investigate.”
- The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. A vehicle description hasn’t been provided at this time.
