1 Dead, Several Hurt After Multi-Vehicle Hwy. 41 Crash Northwest of Ottawa

One person is dead and several others are being treated for injuries after a multi-vehicle crash south of Eganville — a community northwest of Ottawa.
- The incident took place on Highway 41 between McGrath Road and Spring Creek Road just after 12pm ET on July 8.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) refused to provide more details on the deceased and the injured individuals “at this time.”
- Highway 41 was closed in the area for several hours.
UPDATE @ 4:01pm: One person has died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. Other individuals were transported to hospital with varying degrees of injuries. No details on the victims are being released at this time.
