A motorcyclist has been pronounced dead after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 400 near Vaughan Mills on Oct. 18, 2025.

What Happened?
- The incident took place in the northbound lanes of the highway near Rutherford Road just before 7pm ET on Oct. 18.
- According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the motorcyclist — a 43-year-old from Wasaga Beach — collided with the back of a pickup truck before being struck by another vehicle.
- Northbound lanes of Highway 400 fully reopened early in the morning on Oct. 19.

Investigation Updates
Witnesses told the OPP that the motorcyclist and others were observed driving “aggressively” prior to the collision.
