• According to officials, one of the drivers involved in the crash, a 75-year-old man, was rushed to hospital and later pronounced dead.
• The driver of the other vehicle, a 23-year-old man, was also taken to hospital in serious condition.
• Ninth Line was temporarily closed between Elgin Mills and 19th Avenue.
