A 94-year-old man is dead after a red sedan and a white SUV collided in Pembroke — a community northwest of Ottawa — on March 30, 2026.

What Happened?
- The incident took place on Paul Martin Drive near Highway 17 just after 11:30am ET on March 30.
- According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the driver of the red sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
- The driver of the white SUV, a 32-year-old from Laurentian Valley, was taken to Pembroke Regional Hospital. Their condition isn’t considered life-threatening.
- Officials confirmed that only the drivers were in the vehicles at the time of the head-on collision.

The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
