On Aug. 25, 2025, a motorcyclist was pronounced dead after a collision with a Ford SUV near City View Park in Burlington.

What Happened?
- Halton police responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Kerns Road and Dundas Street East just before 9pm ET on Aug. 25.
- According to officials, a Honda motorcycle was travelling east on Dundas Street East when it collided with a Ford SUV that was attempting to turn left onto Kerns Road.
- The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man from Waterdown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- No injures were reported for the driver of the Ford SUV — a 56-year-old man from Milton — or for the occupants of 2 other vehicles that were damaged during the collision.
Investigation Updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
