Driver rear-ended by ‘red car’, robbed on Hwy. 410 in Brampton

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are searching for multiple suspects after a driver was rear-ended and robbed on Highway 410 in Brampton.

The incident happened in the northbound lanes of the highway north of Sandalwood Drive just after 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 19.

• Officials said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that a vehicle was rear-ended by a “red car”. The driver of the stuck vehicle, a man, pulled over to the shoulder to check the damage.
• As the man prepared to exchange information with the driver of the red car, he was robbed by masked and armed individuals.
• The man suffered minor injuries. OPP didn’t disclose what items were taken from his vehicle before the suspects sped off in the red car.
