Two-vehicle collision in Burlington leaves 94-year-old dead
Incident details
A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas Street and Walkers Line in Burlington has left a 94-year-old dead.
- Halton Regional Police say the incident occurred just after 3 p.m. ET on Oct. 15.
- A red Jeep Wrangler reportedly collided with a grey Ford Focus that was turning left from Dundas Street onto Walkers Line.
- The 94-year-old, who was a passenger in the Ford Focus, was transported to an out-of-region trauma centre. The individual was later pronounced dead.
- Police re-opened the entire intersection around 8 p.m. ET.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Halton Regional Police are asking anyone with information, including cellphone and dashcam footage of the incident, to contact them.
