Burlington OPP respond to ‘multiple’ QEW collisions to kick off 2025
What happened?
Winter weather made for a messy morning commute on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) in Burlington.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) claimed that they were responding to “multiple collisions” on the highway near Ford Drive and Highway 403 before 9 a.m. ET on Jan. 2.

No physical injuries have been reported at this time. The exact number of collisions that the OPP responded to on the QEW hasn’t been disclosed.
