Brock University Cutting Support Roles in 2026, Part of Restructuring

Is Brock University Cutting Jobs?

Yes — Brock University confirmed that its cutting some support roles as part of a restructuring.

The St. Catharines-based post-secondary institution told CHCH News in a statement that it’s:

  • Navigating significant fiscal challenges
  • Working to streamline support for academic programs, research, and student success

Brock University said “fewer than 12 positions” will be affected — adding that claims of deeper job cuts are “misinformation.”
