Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving a black BMW and a tractor-trailer on Highway 48 in Georgina.
- The incident took place on the highway around High Street before 11am ET on June 13.
- Footage of the scene shared by CTV News showed the BMW behind the tractor-trailer. There was significant damage to the driver’s side of the BMW.
- According to reports, the driver of the BMW, a 31-year-old man from Georgina, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Highway 48 was closed in both directions between Park Road and Ravenshoe Road for several hours.
