Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is investigating reports that the Bank of Montreal (BMO) is closing its Air Miles division — affecting a significant number of jobs.

Impacted employees allege that BMO, which is in the process of transitioning the rewards program to “Blue Rewards,” is looking to outsource travel bookings to Expedia.

The bank acquired Air Miles in 2023 during LoyaltyOne’s bankruptcy.

What Roles at Air Miles are Affected?

While the specific roles affected remains unclear, many long-service employees are among those being let go.

According to LinkedIn, hundreds of individuals currently work at Air Miles.
