What Happened
Toronto Police say the collision occurred just before 1 p.m. on the raised LRT platform west of Pharmacy Avenue along Eglinton Avenue East.
According to police and paramedics:
- The woman was standing on the platform before crossing into the path of a westbound LRT test vehicle.
- She was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
- The LRT operator honked the horn and slowed before the impact.
