Are there any planned increases for B.C.’s minimum wage in 2024?
Yes. The B.C. government is increasing the minimum wage in the province to $17.40 per hour on June 1, 2024, continuing its annual practice of adjusting the wage on this date each year. This new amount was announced on Feb. 26, and will be in effect for the first 5 months of 2025 as well.
