Aurora Cannabis layoffs after deal with Great North

Aurora Cannabis closes facility near Kamloops, B.C., aurora cannabis, grow facility

Aurora Cannabis laid off an unspecified number of sales staff after it selected Great North Distributors as its national sales representative in Canada in dealing with the recreational retail space, according to a report by Marijuana Business Daily.

While the layoffs have impacted many employees on Aurora’s sales team, the marijuana producer said they will maintain an internal sales leadership team.
