Atlassian Cutting 10% of Staff in 2026, North American Workforce Affected

What’s Happening at Atlassian?

Atlassian is reportedly cutting approximately 10% of its workforce, or around 1,600 jobs, as the software giant continues to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its operations.

For North America, a spokesperson confirmed that 640 positions are being eliminated. The specific number of Canadian roles affected remains unclear.

According to LinkedIn, Atlassian currently employs more than 280 people in Canada.
