Anthony Henday Drive Crash: 3-Vehicle Collision in Edmonton Claims Motorcyclist’s Life

Edmonton, AB – On Thursday night, a fatal three-vehicle collision occurred on Anthony Henday Drive in the northwest corner of Edmonton. The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) responded to the incident at approximately 9:45 p.m. The collision involved a motorcycle, a car, and a pickup truck on eastbound Anthony Henday Drive near 184th Street.
Victim Information
Tragically, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. The identities of the deceased and other individuals involved have not been released. The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were transported to the hospital as a precaution, while the driver of the car sustained minor injuries.
Investigation Updates
Initial investigations suggest that the motorcycle was traveling at an extreme rate of speed when it rear-ended the car. The impact caused the car to lose control and subsequently collide with the pickup truck. The section of Anthony Henday Drive eastbound between Ray Gibbon Drive and the Yellowhead Highway was closed for several hours to allow for a thorough investigation.
