8 people hurt, pickup truck driver arrested after TTC crash in North York

The driver of a pickup truck has been arrested after colliding with a TTC bus in North York—injuring eight people.
- The Toronto Police Service (TPS) said the incident took place at the corner of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue around 4:20 a.m. ET on Oct. 31.
- When officers arrived on scene, they found a damaged pickup truck and TTC bus near the subway station.
- The TTC bus driver was among the eight people hurt during the crash.
- While the injuries vary in severity, none are considered to be life-threatening.

Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
