Irrefutably impaired: 62-year-old charged after crash in Ottawa Valley

A 62-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 41 in the Ottawa Valley.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the incident took place on the highway near Micksburg Road in the afternoon on Jan. 15.
While the man from Bonnechere Valley Township wasn’t seriously injured, his blood alcohol concentration was three times higher than the legal limit.
Investigation updates
Officials have suspended the 62-year-old man’s licence for 90 days and impounded his vehicle for seven days.
Anyone with information on the incident, including cellphone or dashcam footage, is asked to contact the OPP.
