A 53-year-old is dead following a five-vehicle collision on Highway 11 near Kirkland Lake — southeast of Timmins.
- The Canadian Press (CP) reported on Dec. 28 that the incident took place north of Highway 112.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) told CP that a 53-year-old individual from Montreal was rushed to hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
- A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place at a later date.
- No other deaths or injuries have been reported at this time.
