41-year-old dead, struck by vehicle south of Owen Sound
Incident details
A 41-year-old pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 6 and 10, south of Owen Sound.
- The incident took place just before 9 p.m. ET on Dec. 17.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the pedestrian was rushed to hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
- The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
- The highway was temporarily closed between Story Book Park Road and Grey Road 18
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
