2 people hurt after car, TTC bus collide in Toronto’s east end
Incident details
Two people are hurt following a collision between a car and a Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus in the city’s east end.
- Toronto police responded to reports of a crash on Danforth Avenue, just west of Broadview Avenue, before 6 a.m. ET on Dec. 22.
- Officials said the driver of the car and their passenger were taken to hospital. Their injuries aren’t life-threatening.
- It’s unclear if the driver of the TTC bus or any passengers on board were injured.
Investigation updates
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. However, the driver of the car has been arrested for impaired driving.
Anyone with information on the incident, including cellphone or dashcam footage, is asked to contact Toronto police.
