1 teen, 4 adults hurt after school bus collision in Ottawa’s south end
Incident details
Four adults and one teenager are hurt after a van and a school bus collided in Ottawa’s south end.
The incident took place in the area of Bank Street and Lester Road around 2:50 p.m. ET on Dec. 3.
- Paramedic spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps told CTV News Ottawa that the teenager was rushed to hospital in serious condition.
- It remains unclear if the teenager was in the school bus or the van at the time of the crash.
- Three of the adults were transported to hospital in stable condition. The fourth adult sustained minor injuries.
- Roads in the area reopened around 7:30 p.m. ET.
Investigation updates
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. There’s no word on charges at this time.
