Driver hospitalized following fiery 2-vehicle crash in Tecumseh
Incident details
One driver has been taken to hospital following a fiery two-vehicle collision in Tecumseh — near Windsor.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received reports of a crash near the intersection of Highway 3 and Walker Road just after 8 a.m. ET on Jan. 29.
- When emergency crews arrived, one of the vehicles involved in the collision had caught fire.
- Bystanders removed one of the drivers from their vehicle before serious injuries were sustained.
- The injuries of the driver that was taken to hospital aren’t life-threatening. The other driver wasn’t hurt.
Investigation updates
The cause of the two-vehicle collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
