3 Things you must do if you are told your LTD is going to be cut off!

13:57
1. Call us now!
Don’t wait to contact a lawyer if you have an impending cut off date. Appeals often don’t work and are a waste of your time. If you feel that your insurance has been unfairly cut off it is important to seek legal representation quickly. We can asses your case and provide you with insight about your case and let you know if you should move forward.
2. Get a copy of your LTD policy!
Having a copy of your policy will allow you or a lawyer the ability to review what you are owed and what rights you have under your policy.
3. Speak with your treating doctors and have them confirm you are still unable to return to work.
It is important that if you are cut off or about to be cut off it is because the insurance company thinks you are able to return to work. Speaking to your doctor and getting updated reports will help you and a lawyer to provide the necessary documentation to show your current medical status.
