Man seriously hurt after bicycle, vehicle collide in Centretown
Incident details
A cyclist is being treated for injuries following a collision with a vehicle in Ottawa’s Centretown neighbourhood.
- The incident took place at the intersection of Gladstone Avenue and O’Connor Street just after 3 p.m. ET on Jan. 9.
- Paramedics told CTV News Ottawa that the man on the bicycle was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition isn’t life-threatening.
- Gladstone Avenue was temporarily closed between Bank Street and Metcalf Street.
- O’Connor Street was temporarily closed between Frank Street and Gladstone Avenue.
Ottawa Police are on the scene of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Gladstone Ave and O’Connor St.
Road closures are in effect on Gladstone Ave between Bank St and Metcalf St. Also on O’Connor St between Frank St and Gladstone Ave.
