What’s happening at STEMCELL Technologies?
Samfiru Tumarkin LLP has learned that STEMCELL Technologies, a Vancouver-based biotech company, laid off more than 100 employees on November 5, according to staff who have contacted the firm for legal guidance. News of the layoffs have also circulated on social media. This is the company’s second major layoff this year, with the previous one occurring in June.
STEMCELL Technologies develops and manufactures cell culture media and cell separation tools used in stem cell, immunology, and cancer research.
