Motorcyclist dead following collision with Buick in Barrie’s south end
Incident details
A motorcyclist has succumbed to their injuries following a collision with a white Buick in Barrie’s south end.
- Barrie Police say the crash happened in the area of Mapleview Drive West and Veteran’s Drive around 3:30p.m. ET on Oct. 22.
- The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old individual, was travelling east on Mapleview Drive West when they collided with a Buick Encore GX, which was making a left turn out of a business on the south side of the street.
- The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since been pronounced dead.
Investigation updates
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
