Man dead after 2 motorcycles collide on Bathurst Street in Thornhill

Incident details

A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with another motorcycle in Thornhill.

  • Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the incident occurred on Bathurst Street near the on-ramp to the eastbound Highway 407 just after 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 19.
  • One of the motorcyclists, a 33-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other motorcyclist was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
  • Officials say the two riders were friends.

Investigation updates

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if any charges will be laid.
