⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I contacted Sivan Tumarkin for legal assistance in April 2016 because my insurance company denied benefits to my fully covered son after he suffered an injury that left him paraplegic. From 2011, the time of my son’s accident, until we involved Sivan in April 2106, the insurance company consistently refused to honour the benefits my son was entitled to, claiming his injury didn’t meet their criteria for paraplegia. Prior to contacting Sivan, I had reached out to several other law firms, and met with one attorney who requested we provide a retainer, which we were advised against doing. I continued to seek a lawyer that would take the case on it’s merits and was thrilled when I found Sivan and he agreed to handle our case. From the time I initially contacted him, he and his staff were very respectful and responsive. He was honest about what we could expect, what the timeline would/could be, potential outcomes, what could impact the outcome, and what was happening and why, at every step of the process. The entire team went above and beyond to fight the insurance company on my son’s behalf, from newspaper coverage, telephone interviews with his doctors, and in all of their interactions with us. Sivan resolved this case to our satisfaction and much faster than we anticipated, in August 2017. Our entire experience with Sivan and his team throughout the duration of our case was a very positive one and I would recommend Sivan and his firm to anyone in need of an attorney to resolve an insurance issue.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In March 2008, I suffered a serious slip and fall accident and broke Lumbar 1 in my back. This occurred in what is called the common area of my townhouse development. The result of this accident was that I was unable to work for a number of months. I engaged Sivan Tumarkin as my solicitor who immediately came to my home for the initial consultation. In fact, because of my lack of mobility made all home visits to accommodate my needs. Through his and his firm’s expertise and skill when my case reached the arbitration stage, I felt confident and secure that the process would be done with compassion, sensitivity and with integrity. Indeed it was. Slip and fall cases are very difficult in terms of determination of degree of fault, but in my case the evidence presented skillfully by Sivan Tumarkin concluded that the fault lay predominantly with the defendant and my fault was negligible and the suit settled very well. Although this was a very difficult and upsetting time in my life both physically and emotionally, the proficiency and competency coupled with care and compassion for me and my family demonstrated by Sivan Tumarkin and his colleagues was I believe, exemplary. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Mom was involved in a fall and sustained a severe ankle injury, forcing her to retire, as her job involved being on her feet from anywhere betwen 8 and 12 hours / day.
