- Injured on cottage property: It is not uncommon for individuals to experience injuries due to negligence on cottage properties. Rental properties must follow building codes in order to prevent potential injuries. Individuals should document all elements of the incident and resulting injury. Documentation can include pictures of the environment. The property owner is considered responsible and their insurance can provide benefits to injured parties.
