At Samfiru Tumarkin LLP our Paralegal placement students are valued members of our growing team of Licensed Paralegals. We offer a truly unique and immersive experience for our students, who will have unparalleled exposure to all aspects of the legal work performed at the firm. We understand that with such a short placement, it is critical that you are able to use what you’ve learned and apply it in a real-life situation. As a Samfiru Tumarkin student, you will not be relegated to just performing research or administrative tasks. Instead, you will work side by side with our team of legal professionals, all while becoming acquainted with the business side of law.
In terms of day-to-day, our placement students are responsible for drafting pleadings, attending various court appearances with our team of Paralegals, interacting directly with our clients, and much more. Several of our placement students have been hired after their placements in various roles within the firm in order to gain further experience in a busy and exciting law firm.
You decide what your experience will be at Samfiru Tumarkin. Our placement students are provided with basic training and dedicated mentorship to ensure you are receiving the best possible experience. The dynamic structure of the program will allow you to shape your own experience with the firm, as we will ensure that you are exposed to the types of matters/assignments that you will come across in your own practice. With that in mind, our student program is designed to lay the foundation for your career as a litigator.
If you are interested in a program that will provide mentorship from leaders in the field, practical training, and the opportunity to personalize your own experience, look no further!
