What Should You Do If Geotab Lays You Off?

If you’ve received a termination notice from Geotab, don’t rush to accept your severance offer.

  • Keep your paperwork. Save your termination letter, employment contract and severance offer.
  • Check your full compensation. Your salary, bonuses, commissions and benefits may affect what you’re owed.
  • Have your offer reviewed. An employment lawyer can determine whether you’re entitled to more severance and help you negotiate additional compensation.

⚠️ Don’t Rush To Sign: A short deadline to accept a severance package doesn’t automatically take away your right to proper compensation. Signing a valid release can prevent you from asking for more. Get advice before signing.
