More Complaints about University of Victoria Coach – Canadian Press
Three more rowers have reached out to the media with complaints about the University of Victoria’s rowing coach and denunciation of the university’s handling of an investigation into alleged misconduct.
Canadian Press reporter Laura Kane writes that these three individuals are the latest to accuse coach Barney Williams of verbal abuse. Three other rowers and an assistant head coach accused the silver gold medallist of harassment. An adjudicator hired by the University has recently completed an investigation into their complaints.
Students are being warned by the university that they may face disciplinary action if they discuss the outcome of the investigation.

The firm also pointed out that the policy would be “meaningless” in a human rights tribunal or civil court.
