Yes. Danny Glover, an award-winning actor known for his role in the “Lethal Weapon” films, confirmed on July 1, 2026 that he’s been living with Alzheimer’s disease for several years.

“I can live with it in a sense,” the 79-year-old San Francisco-born actor and activist told The Today Show.

“I’m sure as it advances, things are going to be ​different and changing.”

Glover shared that he got the diagnosis soon after receiving an honorary Oscar, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award ​for his advocacy for justice and human rights, in ​2022.
