Nearly 75% of Young Canadians Primarily Rely on Online Job Boards: CFIB
Nearly three-quarters (73%) of young job seekers are primarily looking for employment opportunities online, according to a new report by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB).
In addition to focusing on job boards, the organization’s report found:
- More than 33% of young Canadians wouldn’t consider a minimum wage role.
- Nearly 50% of respondents aren’t interested in jobs requiring heavy physical effort or overnight shifts.
- Nearly 2-in-5 young Canadians would pass on employment opportunities involving “outdoor work.”
