What’s Happening at Verizon?

Verizon Communications (Verizon) has reportedly eliminated several hundred jobs in 2026 as part of an ongoing restructuring.

The bombshell update comes less than 6 months after the telecommunications company conducted its largest workforce reduction ever — affecting more than 12,000 positions.

Impact on Canadian Staff

While the latest round of job cuts mainly affects US staff at Verzion, it’s unclear if Canadian employees have also been let go.

According to LinkedIn, the company currently has more than 280 workers in the country.
