3 Dead After Crash Sends SUV “Flipping Through the Air” South of Woodstock
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving an SUV and a transport truck in Norwich Township — a community south of Woodstock — on March 31, 2026.
What Happened?
- The incident took place at the intersection of Highway 59 and Quaker Street just after 3pm ET on March 31.
- One witness to the crash claimed on social media that they saw the SUV “flipping through the air” after colliding with the transport truck.
- 3 of the SUV’s occupants have been pronounced dead. 2 others remain in critical condition.
- Highway 59 was temporarily closed at Quaker Street.
