4 people have been rushed to hospital following a head-on collision involving a Subaru and a Mercedes near Robinson Creek in Markham on March 27, 2026.

What Happened?
- The incident took place around Major Mackenzie Drive and Stonebridge Drive, west of McCowan Road, before 5pm ET March 27.
- According to York police, the driver of the Subaru was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 2 children were in the vehicle — 1 is in critical condition, while the other suffered minor injuries.
- The driver of the Mercedes was also taken to the hospital. Their condition isn’t considered life-threatening.

The cause of the head-on collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear which vehicle crossed over the median and whether charges are pending.
