77-Year-Old Dead, Struck by Pickup Truck on Main St. in Seaforth

On Aug. 22, 2025, a 77-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead after being struck by a pickup truck in Seaforth, Ont. — a community northwest of Stratford.

• Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the incident took place on Main Street before 7am ET on Aug. 22.
• The pedestrian, a 77-year-old Huron East resident, was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, the individual succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital.
