Your Rights After a Car Accident in Vaughan

If you’re hurt in a car accident, Ontario’s accident benefits (SABS) may cover income replacement and medical/rehabilitation costs, regardless of who was at fault.

You may also have the option to sue the at-fault driver for additional damages, including pain and suffering, lost wages, and out-of-pocket costs. The value of a car accident settlement in Ontario will depend on factors such as the severity of your injuries, how they impact your ability to work, and any future care you may require.

⚠️ It’s important to act quickly. Ontario has strict time limits for making a car accident claim — and some insurance deadlines are only days after the crash.
