Pedestrian Dead, Struck by Tractor-Trailer on Hwy. 404 Near Keswick

On Aug. 13, 2025, a man was pronounced dead after being struck by a tractor-trailer on Highway 404 near Keswick.

What Happened?
- The incident reportedly took place in the southbound lanes of the highway between Woodbine Avenue and Queensville Sideroad East before 2:30pm ET on Aug. 13.
- Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in an update that a male pedestrian had been pronounced dead at the scene.
- Officials didn’t disclose if the driver of the tractor-trailer remained at the scene.
Investigation Updates
The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation. It’s unclear if charges are pending.
