Jennifer is an Ontario employment lawyer and Senior Associate with Samfiru Tumarkin’s Labour and Employment practice group, working through the firm’s Toronto and Ottawa offices. She has a diverse practice, providing legal advice and representation to both employees and employers with respect to all aspects of employment law matters, including:

Jennifer is dedicated to resolving complex employment disputes for her clients in a timely and cost-effective manner, recognizing that successful resolutions of workplace disputes often involve creative and practical solutions, such as strong and effective negotiations. Jennifer’s clients appreciate her pragmatic and relatable approach in navigating them through the litigation process, as well as her determination in advocating for their rights. Prior to joining Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, Jennifer articled and spent over two years in practice as a commercial litigator at a full-service downtown Toronto firm. There she developed a broad litigation background, representing a wide range of clients in a variety of commercial and employment disputes.
Jennifer is an experienced advocate, and has successfully appeared numerous times before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She has also appeared before the Social Benefits Tribunal, and has arbitration and trial experience.
When not practicing law, Jennifer enjoys travelling, cottaging and cheering on the New England Patriots.

Jennifer obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude.
Prior to attending law school, Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Arts, Honours, in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Western Ontario. She received Western University’s gold medal academic awards for graduating at the top of her class in both her majors.
