2 Drivers Dead Following Head-On Hwy. 28 Collision West of Ottawa

Incident Details
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal head-on collision on Highway 28 in Denbigh — a community west of Ottawa.
- Just before 8pm ET on July 30, emergency crews responded to reports of a head-on crash on the highway near Trout Lake Road.
- One of the drivers was immediately pronounced dead at the scene. Despite life-saving efforts by Renfrew County Paramedics, the other driver was pronounced dead shortly after.
- The identities of the 2 drivers — both men — haven’t been disclosed at this time.
- Highway 28 near Trout Lake Road was closed for several hours.
Witnesses Sought
